Circadia Peels

AESTHETIC - LASER - SKIN - WELLNESS CLINIC

Dead skin cells can make the skin appear dull and lacking in radiance, while fine lines can make us appear older. Accumulated sun damage can leave even the most pampered skin looking worn or blemished. Circadia peels can be used to treat a number of problems, including sun damage, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles and tired-looking skin.

Circadia Peels stimulating the production of new cells and collagen

Circadia peels are used to create a controlled wounding on the surface of the skin. This damages the superficial layer of skin cells that are often blocking fresh skin cells from coming to the surface. Your skin then works to slough away these dying skin cells, stimulating the production of new cells and collagen.

Lactic Peel £75
This peel is gentle Alpha Hydroxy acid which is safe and well tolerated by most skin types, treating thin, damaged and ageing skin with lactic acid. Not only does this remove the outer layers of damaged stratum cornium but will also leave a more intact lipid barrier, resulting in a healthier appearance. Great for people who have sensitive skin. Three strengths: 30%, 35% and 45%. Can be repeated every 4 weeks.

Alpha/Beta Peel £85
A perfect combination of lactic and salicylic acid provides a perfect blend to exfoliate and clean the pores without harshness, irritation or inflammation, while improving the hydration factor of the lipid barrier. Clients experience little to no stinging and should not experience flaking or peeling. Three strengths available: 30% Lactic Acid with 10% Salicylic Acid, 40% Lactic Acid with 15% Salicylic Acid, 40% Lactic Acid with 15% Salicylic Acid. Can be repeated every 4 weeks.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Circadia Peels

Chemical peels are versatile treatments that can be customised and selected specifically for your skin’s needs. They are capable of treating the visible signs of ageing, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, tired and dull skin, ageing skin, and congested or acne-prone skin. They’re suitable for treating skin conditions as well as reinstating a healthy skin glow and complexion.

Each chemical peel has a range of active ingredients and acids in which, when applied to the skin, create a controlled surface wound. They work to slough away the dead, dying, and damaged skin cells on the surface of your skin. They can also help to rebalance excessive oil secretion in the skin by forcing your skin into a more natural oil cycle.

You may feel a warm, tingling, sometimes stinging sensation when we apply the peel. The strength of this sensation will depend on the strength of your peel, but this means that the treatment is working.

Typically, you can expect a little redness, tingling, and dry skin in the days following your treatment. This is natural, but you should refrain from picking at or disrupting your skin during this time as this will hinder your healing. You may also find that your peel brings a few spots to the surface because it has worked to cleanse your pores, again these should be left to heal and fade away naturally.

You could notice a change in your skin condition and complexion after healing after just one treatment, but a full course is usually recommended to achieve your optimum and long-lasting results. A full course of treatments will help to remodel your skin, maintaining your results with the right care and attention.
